The next day it rained. Everyone was woken up by a wildly hysterical Troy, running around screaming, "We're all gonna die! We're all gonna die!"
"Soaked is more like it," said 'Nissa irritably. "will you quiet down please, Troy?"
"We're all gonna die! We're all gonna die!"
"I do believe, 'Nissa, it was your idea to bring him along."
"Hush, Makar. You can't blame him. Chinchillas hate water."
"Yeah; if their fur gets wet, they can catch hypothermia and die."
"Thank you, Ewan. But that little tidbit doesn't help my eardrums any. Besides, he's in human form, for crying out loud! He's perfectly fine!"
"Not necessarily, Makar. In Lycanthropes, the inner body structure on the animal and the "human" form are almost identical. So, he stands a chance of actually catching hypothermia even in human form."
"Then can't you cast some sort of spell to dry him off or something Ewan? Please."
"Oh. Yeah. Sure!"
"A brilliant flash of light burst out of Ewan's hand and enveloped Troy.
"We're all gonna- hey! I'm dry! And warm!"
"Yes you are, Troy. Thanks Ewan. Now see if you can dry out the food."
"Sure thing Captain Mak!"
"Don't call me Captain."
"Boys..." 'Nissa sighed.
Sometime later and drier, the party had found some sort of a trail and were following it west. According to Makar, this would take them to the country of Lazreth, and then further to the city of Lazreth, which, as it turned out, both were located on the continent of Lazreth. "Who would name a continent, country, and city all the same name???" asked 'Nissa incredulously.
"Oh, I dunno. Probably some pair of nitwits who thought that it was a cool name and went crazy with it."
"Hey, whats that?" asked Troy, pointing up at the sky, which was still grey, but beautifully pierced with streams of light. The object of his curiosity, however, was a small group of lights moving towards them.
"Angels," whispered Ewan, dumbstruck.
