"Not again!" Du'Nissa cried out, looking down at her sack that had obviously been rummaged through that was sitting beside a small stream.
"Great, just friggin' great. Probably that theif of a girl that I saw at the Inn earlier when I went walking by. I knew that she looked mysterious! I just knew it!" She continued on her little rant as she slowly began to pick up the scattered contents from her bag from about the small clearing.
'Just got to love it when this sort of thing happens.' She thought to herself.
A few moments later, when she was sure that all was secure in her sack, found Du'Nissa climbing up one of the large oaks of the forest, and tying her sack to one of the large, higher branches.
"That stupid mutt." She grumbled. She finally had finished and her pupils slitted as she heard a loud howl close by.
"Great, more muttsss." The 's' on the end of mutts came out as a soft hiss, more of a cat like sound. If you t'were but a Human, you could've blinked, and had no idea where she had gone, because sitting in her place was a medium sized reddish cat. Yes, a cat.
Her eyes slitted more as she saw the wolf enter the area, head tilted up, sniffing its way in her direction.
'Poor thing must be starving, cat is definately not on the menu for this evening.' She thought as the wolf began to growl at her. She hissed at it, unsure of what else she could really do without revealing that she was not a cat, but a Lycanthrope.
Her ears flattened as she heard a loud crack to her left, her eyes darting in that direction to see the silhouette of a male, before darting back to the wolf, whom was now running scared in the opposite direction.
'Well then, so much for that.' She thought to herself.

Makar rode silently throught the forest, accompanied by his equally silent companion, Ewan. He was suspicious of the place, but decided to just let it be. Ewan looked amiable enough, observing everything around him in estudious silence. How ironic, thought Makar, that he should be so quiet in this place, when he was usually quite talkative otherwise. Suddenly, Ewan came to a halt; Makar pulled up alongside. "What do you see?" inquired Makar. "There, by that tree," said Ewan. Sitting quite calmly by an oak tree some distance from them, a red cat was looking peeved by a nearby wolf. "The wolf or the cat? The wolf is easily dealt with," said Makar, drawing his rapier, "but that cat- I see what you mean. Creatures of that sort are not often found in these parts, no?" Dismounting, Makar walked relatively silently towards the cat. Then, with a crack, he stepped on a dry twig that promptly snapped. Wincing, although he did not see why he did, he stared at the cat; the wolf had fled in his presence.

Du'Nissa's ears perked up as her bright eyes shimmered in the light, looking towards the sound of the snapping twig, noticing that there was two figures, and not just one.
She let out a soft 'mew', trying to appear as much as a normal cat as possible. She hopped down from the tree, her paws making a soft, almost unaudiable, thud upon the earth. She walked over to her bag and laid upon it, curling up into a small ball, hoping for the best, whilst playing with her necklace cord, pawwing at it gently and gnawing on it slightly.

Ewan moved closer to the feline, bending slightly. "What a marvelous-looking cat, Makar! It's eyes are riveting. Hello, what's this?" Reaching for the necklace, the cat let out a rather menacing hiss. Leaping up, Ewan let loose a yelp of alarm. Makar swooped in, and held Ewan back. "Steady! I have a strange feeling about this cat..." Leaning close to Ewan, he mutteed something in his ear. Ewan's face momentarily took on a scoffing look, then sobered. "A-are you sure? Positive? I mean how-" "I'm quite certain. Don't ask me why; just say it!" Ewan straightened his cape and took a step forward. The feline looked up at him and cocked its head, almost in amusment. Looking back at Makar one last time, Ewan gathered himself up. Looking down at the cat, he spoke: "Lycantropius Revealontus!" Suddenly a bright light enveloped the cat. As suddenly as it had occured, however, it vanished, leaving a young woman in its place.

The girl curled up into a ball immediately, eyes wide open, hair falling in a curtain around her nude body.
"Have you no decency man!?" She said, pulling her dress up to cover herself as she leaned back on her feet.
"Might you mind turning away whilst a lady is dressing!?" She said, slightly shrilling, as a deep blush came upon their faces. They turned quickly away as she pulled the dress over her head and sitauted herself. She stood up, making sure the dress was securely in place.
"Ok, now, might I ask who ye be, and how exactly did you do that, other than with a spell?" She questioned, sweeping her hair back to reveal her stunning crimson and emerald eyes.

Turning back around, Makar and Ewan looked bashful. Makar's normal dignity was lessened; Ewan was just plain embarassed. "I'm sorry ma'am! I had no idea-Makar just said-" "We're incredibly apologetic, ma'am. I had only read that, if one uttered those words, a lycanthrope miht be forced to reced to its original form. It said nothing, I'm afraid, about the, uh, manner, of change." Looking righteously vengeful, the young woman's eyes bored through the pair. "You should be ashamed. Transforming people like me against their will!" Turning back to her things, she began organizing her things. "Just because you're a noble doesn't mean anything out here, you know."

She continued placing her items into her bag solemnly.
"Really ma'am--" Makar started.
"'Nissa works quite nicely." She replied coldy.
"Erm, 'Nissa, it was really, unintentional. I'm quite sorry, what can I do to repay you?" He asked, holding out a hand to help her stand.
She stared at it as if it was something foreign for a few moments, before accepting it and allowing him to help her stand.
"Well, I am looking for my father if you'd like to assist me." She responded, looking slightly hopeful.

"Your father? That shouldn't be too hard. Where, um, was he..where did you last see him?"
"I don't know. He disappeared when I was eight."
Makar's face dropped like an almond-loaded chinchilla off of one's shoulder. "Oh... Since..you were eight? Well..That, ah, kinda takes the wind out of our sails, doesn't it, Ewan? Ewan?" Turning, Makar noticed that Ewan had vanished. "Ewan?" 'Nissa looked in the direction of Makar's gaze. "Where's your magic friend gone off to?

Du'Nissa, call-me-'Nissa, swept her hair back, yet again, this time tying it back with a bit of string from her pocket.
"Oh dear, this can't be good, now can it?" She said, picking up her bag, and slowly walking towards where Ewan had been standing momentarily ago.
"Wai-, wha-!? Where are you going!? You could get hurt!" Makar said, chivarly kicking in as he rushed to walk alongside her, nearly tripping over his feet.
'Nissa let out a small giggle. "I think you're going to get hurt before I would, honestly, but that's just me." She replied, smiling slightly as she continued in her beeline path.

Walking behind Nissa, Makar had his sword at the ready. Prefering to lead rather than follow, he couldn't help but feel slightly envious of the girl in front of him, who obviously had more experience in these types of places. The woods suddenly opened up to a large glade. However, there was still no sign of Ewan. "Darn. Still no sign of him!" said Makar. Nissa opened her mouth to reply when the sound of a large explosion interrupted her rebuttle.
A very crazed-looking mage ran madly into the glade, followed by a pack of....chinchillas???

'Nissa's eyes widened.
"Erm. . .that wouldn't happen to be. . ."
"Yup. . ."
"Followed by a pack of. . ."
"Yup. . ."
"Thought so. Well, if this isn't a bit wierd. . .wonder if I change if they'll run off?"
"Nope."
"And why not?"
"They're Were-Chinchillas."
"Oh. Erm, well then, what now?"
"I could force them to change."
"And then we'd have a field of naked Humans."
"Oh. Erm, well then, any other ideas?"
"Nope. Go for it."
"Ok then." With that, Makar went for it. Du'Nissa was rather envious of the fact that he could will others out of their forms, but she wasn't sure what else there was that could be done. She sighed heavily as she leaned back against a tree, watching as the Chinchillas slowly, but surely, became less numerous, now with Humans surrounding the field, uncertain of what had happened, and a very mauled looking Ewan, nearly scurrying to hide behind Makar.
"THEY CAME AFTER ME!!!" He said, though it was quite obvious already.

Makar pinched the upper bridge of his nose in mild irritation. "Ewan..." "What? Its not my fault! I was wandering around, minding my own business-" "Exactly. You shouldn't have left us. You may be skilled in magic, but," Makar gestured towards the gathering crowd of angry-looking naked people, who were turning an embarrassing shade of scarlet, "apparently that's not entirely the case, now is it?" Nissa observed the quarreling pair in mild amusment. Ewan was becoming increasingly flustered, both at Makar's questioning and at the growing number of really angry were-chins. "Well...I may have stumbled across a bunch of them..sleeping.. and I might have accidently sneezed rather loudly.." Makar had stopped paying attention to Ewan and started to think of what he was going to do about all these very angry and very...exposed...people. "Er...All of you...I'm very sorry about my friend here...he just had a mild," at this he glared at Ewan, "case of allergy; he meant no harm." One of the group, a rather peeved looking woman, spoke up rather angrily. "Just sneezed?! He stole our necklace!" Her fellows grumbled in agreement. Makar slowly turned to Ewan. "Ewan..is this..true?" Ewan looked genuinely surprised. "Necklace? I didn't take anything! Honestly!" Ewan looked fit to cry at this accusation. Nissa, however, was on the verge of complete laughter. She let loose a brief snigger. Now both Makar and Ewan turned to her. "What?" "The necklace... its right there!" she said, pointing at a boy in the crowd. All heads turned to the kid, who smiled guiltily. "I, um, was just borrowing it!"

Du'Nissa rolled her eyes. "Yeah, sure y'are. . .heeeyyy. . .y'know, I've got a necklace just like that!" She said happily, retrieving her necklace from within her garments. She held it out. "Actually. . .come to think of it. . .would you guys be willing to sell yours?" Ewan and Makar both gave her an odd look. "Depends. . .what are you willing to give?" One of Were-Chinchillas asked. "I dunno. . .care to bargain?" She asked, recieving a nod. "Alrighty then." She looked over her shoulder at Makar and Ewan. "Well then, I'll be back boys!" She said, following the Were-Chinchillas, leaving the guys starring after her dumbfoundedly. "Did she-" "Really just ditch us?" "Yeah." "She sure did. I'm sure she'll be back though, she doesn't seem like the type to dissappear, hopefully she won't get us into more of a mess." Makar replied.
Several hours later found the three around a campfire, chatting happily with the Were-Chinchillas, though Ewan still looked a little edgey. "Do we have to stay here?" He whispered to Makar, shifting his eyes back and forth. "She obviously wants that necklace, so I guess so." Makar whispered back. "Y'know I can hear you both, right?" 'Nissa questioned, leaning between the two. "Erm. . .yes?" Ewan said. "Right then." 'Nissa said sarcastically. "Well, it's time to sleep, we'll give you your necklace in the morning lass." The bargaining Were-Chinchilla, *Troy, said. "Ok then, g'night!" She replied cheerfully. "Com'on you two, time for sleep! You heard the man!" She said, trailing off to a clearing beside the camp, Ewan and Makar following.
An hour later 'Nissa was pokin' Makar, who's eyes flew open, hand darting for his sword. She quickly covered his hand to keep from being stabbed, and motioned for him to be silent. "What is it!?" Makar asked. 'Nissa dangled the necklace in front of his face. "We're leaving. Com'on, grab lazy, I couldn't get him up." She said.
Soon the party of three was on the trail again, wandering down the road. "You still shouldn't have stolen it." Makar was lecturing her. "Yes, yes, yes, t'was very wrong, but it was mine anyways, we did, techincally, stay for part of the night." She replied. Makar simply rolled his eyes. "I s'pose." "Should we find a place to camp, daybreak's coming?" 'Nissa asked.
{{*Wasn't creative enough to come up with a better name, so Troy's a Were-Chinchilla and in our story now. XD}}

"Camp? Now? We've barely gotten two miles from those chinchilla people! Once they find out what you've done, they'll be on us like white on rice! No thanks to you, might I remind you," said Makar very matter-of-factorally. 'Nissa smiled, embarrassed. Ewan groaned. "Come on Mak! I'm starving! And tired, thanks to Ms. Kleptomainiac," said Ewan, shooting 'Nissa a dirty look. Just as 'Nissa was about to slap the tar out of one sadly undermuscled mage, she saw a small, grey, and intolerably cute and fluffy animal lopingthere way, anger in its adorable black eyes. "Aw crap," shouted 'Nissa. "It's Troy!" "What? Man," replied Ewan, bad memories surfacing. "Hurry, maybe we can lose him!" cried Makar, starting to run as quickly as he could."

"Oh, don't be so silly and such a wuss about it." 'Nissa replied, rolling her eyes as she knelt down, the necklace safely tucked inside of her shirt. "Hello there Troy." She said, kneeling down as he shifted into his Human-form. "You stole my necklace!" He cried, lunging towards her. She rolled to the side. "Now listen here you!" She said, dodging from his advances. "This is my necklace that you stole from me, a highly unappreciated guesture!" "No, no, no! I didn't steal it! I found it! It's mine!" He said, huffing slightly as he fell to the ground, tears falling down his face slowly. "It's mine." He pouted. "Aw, come now, don't cry." 'Nissa said, feeling a bit bad. "Bu-. . .bu-. . .but I thought it was mine." "I'm sorry dearie, but my father gave this to me. I can't let go of it." "Then why did you drop it!?" He said, getting more upset. She knelt on the ground beside him. "Tell you what." "Hm?" He said, wiping his eyes on his arm. "I'll let you come along with us, and even ride on my shoulder, as long as you promise not to steal it." As she said this, she watched Troy's eyes go brighter. "Really!?" He asked. "Mhm." "Oh, thank you!" He said, turning into his Chinchilla-form before lunging at her. She hoisted him up onto her shoulder and continued down the path. Five minutes later she'd found Makar, who had finally stopped running, and Ewan, who was still huffing. "Troy's coming with us." She said, quite pointedly that there was to be no discussion over this, before patting Troy on the head, and continuing strolling right past Makar and Ewan.
