Sounds Resound
In reverence walking, few are talking Who can speak when words mean naught? Lofty ceilings and bright-lit lamps Greet us with many a lucid grin. In our places, resplendent and ready, We await our tutor’s salient sign.
Refrain: Sounds resound in melodies profound, These walls await our song’s rebound.
The sign is given! Our mouths, Like mountain springs, out pour Sweet harmonies that soar On echoing wings, fading And generating, like a Resonant phoenix of music.
Sounds resound in melodies profound, Strains abound from this musical fount.
Our song is done, silence falls Our echoes fade, the walls seem cold. Then praise erupts, filling our hearts With thanks undying, undimming, persisting, Ringing still in our smiling hearts, Even as we slip in graceful sleep.
Sounds resound in melodies profound, Triumph remains in memories sound.
